Our all-rounder, a fast-curing, permanently elastic sealant and adhesive based on SMP. The neutral cross-linking, moisture-curing product is designed for universal applications. Gomastit 2060 Multitalent is ideal for weatherproof bonding of many materials such as plastics or metals. Employee protection is another argument for the SMP (no hazard pictograms on the packaging, very low emissions). This hybrid sealant passes tests after storage at -30°C, at +70°C, after storage in water and salt water, as well as under UV light. These properties are very useful in the construction of campers, vehicles, commercial vehicles or boats.

For facade joints
Did you know that a 3 meter wide concrete element is 1-2 mm wider on a sunny afternoon than in the morning due to the higher temperature? Elastic facade joints are movement joints that can compensate for such movements over the years and reliably protect the building from water. Gomastit 2060 is resistant to wind and weather. This is shown by many years of experience, the mechanical tests according to EN15651-1 at -30° to +70°C and weathering tests in the in-house climate chamber. In addition, SMP have the property that they can adapt to the mold even after curing and thus reduce stress. With these properties, Gomastit 2060 protects the building from water ingress for a long time. Gomastit 2060 Multitalent is available in various white and gray tones. As a result, the joint integrates perfectly into the facades. SMP are compatible with paint. The expansion joints themselves are usually not painted over over the entire surface, since wall or facade paints have less elasticity than the sealants.
Tip: Pay attention to the correct shape for a movement joint so that the sealant can move reliably over a long period of time.
For glazing
A little carelessness and a window pane breaks. Gomastit 2060 Multitalent helps twice: Thanks to the good adhesion to glass, the broken glass can be temporarily covered. Gomastit 2060 Multitalent has also been tested for glazing. This makes the Gomastit 2060 Multitalent a handy partner for do-it-yourselfers, carpenters, metalworkers and building maintenance. Thanks to the different shades of brown, Gomastit 2060 is also suitable for wooden windows. Gomastit 2060 Multitalent has proven itself for glazing commercial vehicles, mobile homes or boats. Gomastit 2060 Multitalent has been tested for water and UV resistance according to ISO 11431. In addition to the standardized tests in the climatic chamber, the quality is also monitored at the in-house outdoor weathering stand. Gomastit 2060 Multitalent is paint compatible and windows can be painted or painted afterwards. This is a great advantage over silicone glazing sealants, which repel varnish or paint. Sealants will last longer if water is allowed to drain away after a rain. Due to the low shrinkage of <3% of Gomastit 2060 Multitalent, there are no depressions in which water remains.
Tip: To keep the joint looking good for a long time, it is best to use enough water for cleaning. Dry rubbing will wear out the joint mechanically.
For sanitary area
For joints in the bathroom, which often get damp, mold resistance is an important property for a long service life. Gomastit 2060 Multitalent is tested according to ISO 846 methods A, B and C. For the sanitary area according to EN 15651-3, method B (determination of fungistatic effectiveness) is decisive. Gomastit 2060 Multitalent achieves the best classification and thus the all-rounder can be used in wet areas to create aesthetically beautiful joints for a long time.
Note: An old silicone joint can only be replaced with silicone. SMP have low adhesion to silicone.
Tip: If you weigh the bathtub down before grouting, for example with the weight of a half-filled bathtub, there will be less mechanical stress on the joint later, which will extend its service life.
For footpaths
Floor joints are mechanically stressed when stepping on the joint or driving over it with luggage trolleys or suitcases. Expansion joints on the floor also compensate for thermal movements, analogous to the facade joints. In the test according to EN 15651-4, the sealants are tested for resistance to salt water in addition to the mechanical tests at -30°C - 70°C and artificial weathering by UV radiation. Gomastit 2060 also passes these tests and meets all four parts of EN 15651, which hardly any other SMP on the market achieves. The test for pedestrian paths makes Gomastit 2060 interesting for work such as laying slabs or gardening.
Tip: Joints stay beautiful longer if the water can run off after rain and the joint can dry. The low shrinkage of Gomastit 2060 is also an important advantage here, so that no indentations form during curing.
For natural stone or parquet
In a building or in a vehicle there are countless transitions from one component to the next. These transitions are usually sealed with elastic sealants and optically embellished to form so-called connection joints. Sensitive materials such as natural stone or parquet require careful selection of the appropriate sealant so that the edge zones do not discolour. Gomastit 2060 Multitalent is compatible with sensitive porous materials. This gives tradesmen and do-it-yourselfers the security of having selected the right sealant. Of course, all types of connection joints can be created with Gomastit 2060 Multitalent or even cracks can be filled. Compared to acrylic, SMP have a significantly higher permissible elongation, which prevents later cracking. Compared to acrylic, the low shrinkage is another advantage, which makes the painter's work easier.
For food-related areas
Do you want to create joints in a bakery or an industrial kitchen? Gomastit 2060 can be used safely for pointing walls and floors in food processing plants. For this confirmation, the sealant was tested by the ISEGA institute for migration in accordance with EN 14338. Another argument as to how the versatile possibilities of Gomastit 2060 can simplify warehousing.
For ventilation and air conditioning system (RLT)
Do you work in ventilation and metal construction? It's not just the good adhesion on metals with which Gomastit 2060 Multitalent does a good job. Gomastit 2060 Multitalent does not form a breeding ground for microorganisms in the air-carrying areas of HVAC systems. In addition, Gomastit 2060 meets various labels regarding low emissions. As a result, Gomastit 2060 Multitalent contributes twice to healthy indoor air. VDI 6022 deals with the hygiene of air conditioning systems and devices. For sealants, tests according to ISO 846 method A (fungus growth test) and method C (resistance to bacteria) are decisive.
As assembly adhesive
Most materials expand with increasing temperature, but to varying degrees. When gluing different building materials, such as an aluminum window sill on a concrete parapet, this creates tension. Elastic adhesives such as Gomastit 2060 compensate for these tensions over the years. Depending on the expected movement, Gomastit 2060 is processed in a layer thickness of 1 to 6 mm. This allows inaccuracies in the joints to be bridged. The long processing time of 30 minutes makes Gomastit 2060 a processing-friendly assembly adhesive, even with complicated shapes. The easy squeezing out of the cartridge is also popular. Clean work is possible with Gomastit 2060 because the adhesive does not foam.
Tip: Gomastit 2060 hardens with moisture. For non-porous materials, application in straight lines is recommended to allow air exchange.
For mirrors and glass back walls coated on one side
Unsuitable adhesives attack mirrors and over time become visible as shadows on the front. Mirrors and glass rear walls, which are generally suitable for gluing, can be glued with Gomastit 2060 Multitalent.
Tip: The adhesive must be applied in straight upright lines so that the air can circulate well.
