SMP sealants and adhesives for rail vehicle construction
In order for a product to be used in rail vehicle construction, it must meet high requirements. Among other things, products are required whose fire behaviour has been tested and classified. Depending on the construction class of the rail vehicle, only appropriately classified products may be used.
With Merbenit RV30 and Merbenit RV55, two products are now available that offer significant added value for applications in rail vehicle construction.
Whether it is for demanding sealants that have to satisfy not only safety but also visual requirements, or for bonding where, in addition to strength, aspects such as fire behaviour, increased temperature resistance or the best possible paint compatibility also play a role.
